We still believe in intentional design. Patricia, as the designer, and Michael, as the builder, started this company with a vision to preserve the art of design-build, especially as California increasingly moves toward mass-produced housing. We believe homes don’t have to be plain or soulless. Every home we create is meant to have character and reflect the people who live in it. Whether it’s Modern, contemporary, Spanish, or any other style, we translate each client’s personality into both design and construction. This combination of designer and builder at the helm gives us a unique ability to intentionally communicate and deliver a truly bespoke experience for our clients.

We are also strong believers in managing the entire process smoothly and thoughtfully. Our approach is built on experience. Honestly, we didn’t start perfect. Each project has taught us how to refine our workflow, anticipate challenges, and deliver a better build than the last. With every home we design and construct, we aim to combine craft, care, and efficiency, making the process as intentional and enjoyable as the spaces we create.

Floor Plans & Design

Working directly with a designer who is closely linked to the builder is an often-overlooked advantage – but it’s one of the most important steps in any project. This phase sets the foundation for everything that follows; it can truly make or break a project.

Permit Facilitation & Pre-Construction Management

Before a single hammer swings, proper planning and permitting set the stage for a smooth build. Navigating city requirements, building codes, and the many layers of approvals with local Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) can be the most time-consuming part of any project. By managing this process thoroughly, we remove roadblocks, anticipate potential issues, and ensure your project starts on the right foot.

We know building a home can feel overwhelming. If it’s your first time, you may not know where to start. If you’ve done it before, you might have experienced confusion or frustration along the way.
